The Blaze is home of the famous BLAZE “RIG”. The Blaze is the markets Number 1 radio station, playing hit country since 1976. It is locally owned and operated by Deer Creek Broadcasting LLC. The station's general manager is longtime Chico media personality Dino Corbin, who served as general manager at KHSL-TV for over 20 years. The program director and morning personality is Chico’s own Mike Wessels. Scott Michaels hosts the "Drive Home" and Bry Melendez covers mid days.

Today's lite rock Mix 95.1 plays a wide variety of pop favorites from the 80's through today.  Based in Chico and led by local Program Director and afternoon drive talent Mark Chase.  "The Mix" can be heard from Tehama County south to northern Sacramento County and from the eastern coastal range foothills to the western slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  In addition to playing today's lite rock favorites, like all Deer Creek stations, The Mix places a strong emphasis on promoting community events, live appearances in the community, and a substantial schedule of promotional events that keeps our audience informed and entertained.  The daily lineup includes Dori McKay in the morning, Robin Scott for your workday, Mark Chase in the afternoons, and Jackie Newton at night.

KZAP is a north state heritage classic rock station. Licensed to Paradise, California, KZAP serves the Chico, Paradise, Orland, Oroville, Gridley and the surrounding contiguous counties. The program director and morning show host is Chico radio legend Marty Griffin.  Afternoon drive time is hosted by another radio legend, Steve Michaels.  KZAP 96.7 is the premier Classic Rock station for the north valley.

KPAY (93.9 FM) is the number 1 newstalk radio station in Northern California, covering local north valley sports, including Chico State Wildcat Athletics (baseball, basketball) and Almond Bowl High School Football. The Newstalk 93.9 can be heard in Butte County, California, and parts of Tehama, Glenn and Colusa Counties.  KPAY became a radio affiliate of FOX News Radio in 2006. The program director and morning personality is Scott Michaels with Chico sports broadcasting legend, Mike Baca. The new team is also joined by Matt Ray, who also has his own national talk show. Anthony Watts, (Blogger "Watts Up With That") has been the chief meteorologist for KPAY-FM, a Fox News affiliate based in Chico, California since 2004.
